Day 1: (Tuesday) Arrival Cairo

Welcome to Cairo, Egypt (Around The Clock)
Your tour manager will meet & assist you at Cairo International Airport (Arrival procedures) and then he will escort you to the hotel by exclusive air-conditioned deluxe vehicle. At hotel the tour manager will assist with a smooth check-in and review your holiday itinerary with you to establish and confirm pick-up times for each tour.

Day 2: (Wednesday) Pyramids/ Sakkarra

After breakfast you will be accompanied by your personal guide to Giza Plateau to visit the Great Pyramids of Cheops, Chefren and Mykerinus – Famous Sphinx and Valley temple facing the great statue. Additional visit to the Solar Boat in front of Cheops Pyramid (extra ticket on spot) Lunch included during the tour and then proceed to Saqqara area to visit Saqqara Complex and first pyramid ever built (Djoser Pyramid).

Day 3: (Thursday) Cairo Sights

Check out after breakfast at your hotel in Cairo and then you will be escorted by your private guide to visit: Egyptian Museum, Treasures room for the child king Tutankhamen, alongside many other fascinating artifacts. Additional visit to the mummies room at the museum (extra ticket on spot) Lunch through out the tour at local restaurant. Continue to Coptic Cairo to visit the Hanging Church and Ben Ezra Synagogue. Combining fascinating history with shopping in a lively Khan El Khalili Bazaar, which dates back to 1382. Day 4 – Friday – Aswan Sightseeing Tours

Transfer from your hotel in Aswan for check-in on your Luxury Steamer Cruise, then enjoy visiting the world-famous High Dam, The awesome Philae temple, which is devoted to the two goddesses Isis and Hathor, and the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt, the Unfinished Obelisk. Day 5 – Saturday – Kom Ombo / Edfu

Sail to Kom Ombo, have breakfast on board and Visit the Temple shared by two gods Sobek and Haeroris in Kom Ombo. Sail to Edfu, lunch on board after that Visit the best-preserved cult temple in Egypt, Horus Temple in Edfu. Take afternoon tea during sailing to Esna. Dinner on board.

Have breakfast on board then Visit the West Bank, take an excursion to the royal cemetery for 62 Pharaohs, Valley of the Kings, then to mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, which was built by the architects of the New Kingdom Pharaoh Hatshepsut approximately in the 15th century BC, at El-Deir El-Bahari and the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer after the visit to your hotel in Luxor for free time at leisure.

Optional hot air balloon flight trip in Luxor over the Valley of The Kings at the West bank of the River Nile followed by enjoyable breakfast the hotel in Luxor with free time at lesiure and some optional sightseeing tours available in Luxor and out of Luxor to Denderaha and Abydos temples. Later you will be transferred to Luxor airport to fly back to Cairo, where you will be met and assisted and transferred to your hotel for free time at lesiure in Cairo.

Day 4: (Monday) – Luxor SS MISR Nile Steamship

Breakfast at your hotel in Luxor then transfer to your Luxury Steamer Cruise; boarding before lunch. Settle into your original Edwardian cabin or suite. Gourmet lunch served on board. Today you will be introduced to one of the largest and most impressive archaeological sites in Egypt, the Temples of Karnak. Under the command of the great Pharaohs, this awe inspiring ancient city was built over approx. 2000 years. Walking through this vast open-air museum, you will be struck by the almost perfect illustrations that honour the Pharaohs and their Gods. Before re-boarding for dinner, you will have time to explore present-day Luxor. There is an option for the evening entertainment, the ‘Sound and Light’ show, which illuminates the Temple of Karnak.

Day 5: (Tuesday)- Luxor Sighteeing

The steamship departs early for a day of discovery starting with the Valley of the Kings. Situated on the west bank of the Nile, this limestone valley houses the burial chambers of the great Pharaohs, powerful nobles – and later the royal spouses – of the 18th-21st dynasties. 63 magnificent temples of eternal life line the valley including Tutankhamen’s Tomb which was famously discovered by Howard Carter in 1922. The vibrant colour and conservation of the hieroglyphics lining the tomb of Ramses III never ceases to captivate. At approx. 2.30pm, the Steam Ship Sudan will navigate towards Esna, 60km south of Luxor. After passing through the lock at Esna, the ship with cruise under the star filled sky towards Edfu, a further 46km.

Day 6: (Wednesday)- Kom Ombo and Edfu

A morning exploration of the Temple of Edfu. This sanctuary is considered to be one of the best-preserved temples in Egypt. The site, built in honor of the falcon-headed sky god, Horus, whose eyes were the sun and the moon, was abandoned by the Roman Empire in 391 AD. The temple lay buried under a protective layer of sand until it was excavated by French Egyptologist, Auguste Mariette, in the 1860s. Gourmet lunch served on board.
Languidly cruise 145km south and unveil the pillars of Kom Ombo resting grandly on the banks of the Nile. Being a favored basking spot for crocodiles in ancient times, the temple at Kom Ombo was dedicated to Sobek, the crocodile god. The temple dates back to 180BC during the Ptolemaic era, with notable Roman influences. Sunset over Kom Ombo and dinner on board. The steamship will remain docked at Kom Ombo.

Day 7: (Thursday)- Aswan Sightseeing

The Steam Ship gracefully navigates a further 48km south, past fertile fields and sandy river banks, to reach Aswan at the end of the Nile Valley. It is here where ancient Nubia begins.
Today marks your discovery of the Temple of Philae, the domain of the Goddess Isis, the universal mother who reigned over life, death and resurrection. Philae was one of the most important shrines of ancient Egypt and Nubia until 550AD when the Byzantine Emperor, Justinian, ordered its closing after 4000 years of worship. Before dining on board, you will have time to explore the Aswan markets where you will find indigo, saffron and other treasures. There is an option for the evening entertainment – the ‘Light and Sound’ show which illuminates the Temple of Philae.

Day 8: (Friday) – Nile Cruise to Aswan

Day 9: (Sunday)- Aswan to Cairo by Plane

Breakfast at your hotel in Aswan with free time at leisure with optional excursion to Abu Simbel temples out of Aswan by personal guide and exclusive car or you may fly instead then transfer to Aswan airport to fly to Cairo, upon arrival in Cairo you will be transferred to your hotel in Cairo for free time at leisure.

Day 10: (Monday) – Cairo / Home

Breakfast at your hotel with some free time at leisure in Cairo followed by transfer to Cairo International Airport to catch your inbound flight back home.

Booking Policy

We are offering a low down payment of just 10% to secure your spaces on the tour including hotel room, cruise cabin, domestic flight ticket, and other travel-related services. The remaining balance can be paid up to two days prior to your arrival date or in cash upon arrival at the destination to your tour manager, therefore, making your booking a risk-free investment.

Tipping

Tipping for a job well done is customary in Egypt, though not required. Please feel welcomed but not obliged to offer a tip to your guide.

Cancellation Policy
  • In case you cancel your trip, the following scale of charges will be applied:

From the date of booking until 61 days before your arrival date, 10% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 60 and 31 days before your arrival date, 20% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 30 and 15 days before your arrival date, 50% of the entire tour price will be charged.
Between 14 and 1 days before your arrival date, 100% of the entire tour price will be charged.

Additionally, there are cancellation fees on all domestic flights within Egypt. If you cancel a tour at any time, you will be subject to any fees according to the airline’s cancellation policy.
